Part-time Teacher of Spanish

Required for 1st September 2024, for a term in the first instance, a teacher of Spanish to work 4.5 hours per week, term time only.

We are seeking an outstanding teacher of Spanish to work in our caring and forward-looking school who:

  • Is an inspiring and talented practitioner, passionate about standards and determined to make a genuine difference
  • Has the ability and creativity to design, organise and deliver high quality learning experiences that motivate and inspire pupils and improve their attainment and progress
  • Is willing to support the school in developing their Spanish curriculum
  • Is excited and motivated by new challenges
  • Works effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Has been assessed as good or outstanding in the last 12 months
  • Has excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Has experience teaching in Spanish at KS2

 

The position is a fixed-term contract for a term in the first instance.

Level 2 Teaching Assistant

£23,500 - £23,893 pro rata

 

17.5 hours per week, term time only.  The position is a fixed term post for a year, in the first instance, to support a child in Reception on a 1-1 basis.  St Michael’s are happy to consider part time applications for the role.

We are looking to appoint a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistant to work in our caring and forward-looking school.  Applicants should be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and have a very good standard of spoken and written English.

  • has a good understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum;
  • has good behaviour management skills;
